Barrier Control Technology

 ENCAP's Barrier Control Technology
Creating a mat-like barrier to hold things in place!

The Dust Control Issue

There is a strong need for a more effective dust control product that is environmentally sensitive.  Dust control and related wind erosion are both a significant contributors to air and water pollution in given regions.

ENCAP's Barrier Control Technology

The Solution

Implement a prevention measure whereby soils susceptible to wind erosion and dust formation is treated with an environmentally designed product to stabilize the soil and contain dust.

The Measure

Utilize existing Barrier Control Technologies™ (BCT™) to produce a protective layer over dust producing soils.  BCT™ converts the top 1-3 inches of treated soil into a blanket like cover that will provide the barrier control.

BCT™ is applied in a liquid state and forms a permeable layer that allows both water and air to penetrate into the treated soils.  BCT™ soils remain soft (not crusted) to the touch, allowing for further growth and development of plant life.

Traditional dust control products utilize chemical compounds such as magnesium chloride to create a hard, crust-like barrier.  The environmental concerns relating to these products are known within related industries.  BCT™ is an organic product designed with the environment in mind.

To accomplish this barrier control, BCT™ is spray applied into the soil for maximum results.  BCT™ creates the barrier blanket on-contact that will last up to one year.
